How it’s Made
This vest starts with the square in the center of the back, then uses delicate shell stitches formed in concentric circles around that to form the collar and the rest of the border. As a crocheter this provides enough variety that I have to pay close attention to each stitch, but also follows a pleasing pattern. I love how this vest can be worn with the collar lifted or the collar down for different effects.
