Our designs range from elegant to whimsical, and from understated to detailed and complex. Whatever you choose from our selection, no one else will have one like it.
How it’s Made
With long sleeves and full body, this shrug is more substantial than most. This piece will provide a colorful lift to any outfit, as well as lightweight warmth. Using Okeo-Tex certified cotton/acrylic yarn I began creating this vibrant shrug by using a Larksfoot stitch to form a long rectangle. This created the beautiful vertical color changes that you see. Next, I stitched two seams to form the sleeves. After that I crocheted a broad border around the bodice, also in a Larksfoot stitch which provides a contrasting horizontal pattern which sets off the vertical lines of the sleeves. This shrug took approximately 15 hours to create.
