How it’s Made
Using Okeo-Tex certified cotton/acrylic yarn I began creating this vibrant shrug by using a Tunisian crochet mesh stitch to form a long rectangle. This created the beautiful vertical color changes that you see. Next, I stitched two seams to form the sleeves. After that I crocheted a broad border around the bodice in a V-stitch which provides a contrasting horizontal pattern which sets off the vertical lines of the sleeves. This shrug took approximately 15 hours to create.
